You see one of my oldest and dearest friends Teresa, lost one of her best friends. I can’t even imagine how heart broken Teresa, Georgina and Helen must be over the loss of Tricia.

This past weekend I bumped into some friends of mine, Carol and Mike Browne (who I adore) at a vintage market. I was so delighted to see them. It was the best-est surprise. With Teresa, Georgina, Helen and Tricia in mind, time seems very fleeting. We’re all busy but do we really take the time to always say, “hey, I love you” or “I think you are SO awesome” or how about, “I love spending time with you.”  And it is because of this, I think we should declare today, November 18th, as #hugafriendnowday in honour of Tricia, Teresa, Georgina and Helen’s friendship.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go find your friend. Bumping into your friend by accident, is even better!
  2. Grab them (gently but with excitement on your face!)
  3. Give them the biggest appreciative hug EVAR (and a kiss on the cheek. However the kiss is optional)
  4. Now tell them you love them.  For example “I love you Bro” or “Hey you, I love you, I love you!” Etc…you get the idea.

*Virtual or on the phone hugs and kisses sent with love is totally valid too!

No time like the present.

Let’s celebrate these ladies and send them tons and tons of love.
