When I sit down with a stash to draw, I aim to do four drawings. With Krista’s stash, I did four drawings but they ended up being two diptychs. “Up, Up … And Away”, which I posted about last week, was drawn in July of 2012. This drawing… “Over Under … And Through” was drawn shortly before.
And I have to admit, every time I say “Over, Under … And Through” I hear Grover’s voice from Sesame Street in my head. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see it as bad thing. I LOVE Grover! Although after watching that link maybe I needed to a third diptych called “Around, Near… and Far”?!
Again, these drawings were done on 2″ deep wood canvases and drawn with Prismacolor coloured pencils. “Over, Under” is 14″ high and 18″ wide. “… And Through” is 14″ high and 11″ wide.
Hmmm, you’re never going to read or say the title “Over, Under … And Through” without hearing Grover’s voice now either are you? Well, you can’t UN-know it now! In the meantime stay being “Super” like Grover!
Oh and P.S. due to requests, I’ve posted two packs of cards in my ETSY shop. (Although most people I know don’t use the cards as greeting cards, they frame and hang them).
AND
I’ve opened a Society 6 shop, which does have art prints!
Yay!

This is really cool that you draw beautiful fabric stashes! How fun and creative! If I skip for you, will do mine? Haha!
