Lysa, you should totally write this up as a pattern to sell. It’s lovely.

  2. I agree with Nicole, what an awesome pattern! I love the cassette and full marks for the bottom of it too – genius. And the thing to hold the scissors – more genius. I have just finished reading Jennifer Worth’s series of four books that starts with Call The Midwife and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I feel very sad to have finished them, but even though they turned her memoirs into the series, it’s still worth reading the books as they have tinkered with some of the stories. Shadows of the Workhouse is particularly good. :)

  3. Amazing!!! It’s fantastic and very clever- it reminds me of a secret treasure trove you might find in gran’s attic, her well loved stash of seeing favorites! & yes a pattern!!

It’s so adorable! You really do need to make this into a pattern to sell. I need to make one so I can be more organized. There’s even a thread catcher! Genius!

Oh man, I love this project Lysa! Road trip, soundtracks, sewing…you’ve got it all!

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one forever losing my scissors. You know what else I’m forever losing? My unpicker. I have three and do you think I can ever find any of them when I need it? And you know how annoyed you are by the time you need to use an unpicker and then not to be able to find it…? Apocalyptic, I tell ya! Arrggghh!!!!
